The KEYENCE IG-028 Laser Sensor (IG Series)
is a high-precision CCD-based laser micrometer designed for non-contact measurement and positioning in industrial automation systems. It uses a visible semiconductor laser (660 nm) combined with CCD detection technology to deliver accurate and stable measurements.
The IG-028 sensor head consists of a transmitter and receiver unit, forming a through-beam measurement system. When an object passes through the laser beam, the sensor detects its size, position, or presence with high accuracy.
It offers a measurement range of 28 mm and can be installed at distances up to 1500 mm, making it suitable for a wide variety of industrial measurement tasks.
